Our Class of 2027 seniors kicked off the year with our 3rd annual Senior Sunrise Breakfast. They met at the Pavilion, ate breakfast together, watched the sun rise, and made memories as they kicked off their last, first day of school. Soak in all these lasts… it goes by too quickly!

Our elementary back-to-school ice cream social was a hit! Thank you to the following community partners who helped make this another great event.

-PTSO for providing cotton candy and serving ice cream.
-WOL for bringing and manning the bounce houses and climbing tower.
-3rd grade teacher, Ms. Meros' father, who made the kids' balloon animals.
-The Town of North Hudson for the amazing stash of school supplies.

As always, a huge thank you to our teachers and administration for organizing and hosting the event. We all had so much fun making memories together.

Day 1 is in the books! After a summer of preparing the building, classrooms, and curriculum, the halls were buzzing with laughter and learning. We can't wait to see what the 2026-2027 school year has in store.

Hello Schroon Lake families!
As we get ready to welcome our students back, I want to take a moment to make sure communication between families, caregivers, and teachers goes smoothly. One of the things I have quickly come to appreciate that makes Schroon Lake Central School such a special place is the close-knit nature of our community. Our families, teachers, and staff all know one another well, and those relationships are an important part of who we are as Wildcats.

With that in mind, we are asking families to please use ParentSquare for all school-related communication with teachers and staff rather than personal text messages, social media, or other personal means of communication. This will help streamline communication and help our teachers and staff maintain a healthy work-life balance. Thank you for your help with this. I am very excited for the year ahead and look forward to getting to know our students, families, and community!
