Hello Corbett Mustang Family,

I am absolutely thrilled and honored to introduce myself as a new member of the Corbett Junior High School family! I was born and raised in Temple, Texas, and I am a proud product of Temple ISD. Education is truly my passion, and this marks my 15th year doing what I love most—changing lives and making a difference every single day.

My mission in education is to ensure that every student has an equitable opportunity to become a successful, productive, and valuable member of society. I wholeheartedly believe that all students—no matter their circumstances—have both the right and the ability to learn, grow, and thrive.

I hold a Master of Science in Educational Leadership as well as a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. I began my career in 2011 at Woodlake Hills Middle School in Judson ISD as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher. In 2015, I joined the incredible team at Laura Ingalls Wilder Intermediate School, where I taught 6th grade math, served as the RTI/MTSS campus lead, and was honored to be a department chair. Most recently, I had the privilege of serving as an assistant principal at Dobie Jr. High School for the past three years.

Outside of school, I am a very proud mother to Dawnyail, Dyneisha, and Chace, who are all graduates of Steele High School in SCUC. They are my greatest joy and inspiration!

I am beyond excited to become a part of the Corbett Mustang community! I cannot wait to build strong relationships with our students, staff, and families, and to work together to create a positive, supportive, and high-achieving environment for all. I am truly looking forward to the journey ahead and all the great things we will accomplish together!

Incoming 7th Graders & New 8th Graders

Report to the Gym Entrance.

Students will pick up their schedules as they walk in, then report to Gym 1.

Returning 8th Graders

Report to the Front Office through the front of the school.

Students will pick up their schedules and then be able to leave.
