As we close the chapter on another great year in the Corbett Library, we want to celebrate our outstanding readers!

Congratulations to our top 7th grade reader, Brendon S., with an outstanding 282 checkouts for the year, and our top 8th grade reader, Landon B., with 182 books! Well done, gentleman!

A special shoutout also goes out to Mrs. Alves' students, our top homeroom (ELA) classes of the year, with 1,933 total checkouts and an average of 11.24 books per student.

The most checked-out title this year was "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown" with 23 circulations. It seems this series remains a favorite year after year, even among our middle school readers!

Thank you to all of our Mustang readers for making this a great year in the library. We hope you keep reading all summer long!

Our amazing engineering students put their creativity and teamwork to the test with an exciting hands-on bridge building challenge! πŸŒ‰πŸ”§

Students worked together to design and build their own bridges, then put them to the ultimate test to see how much weight they could hold. Activities like this give students the opportunity to apply problem-solving, critical thinking, and engineering skills in a fun and engaging way.

We love seeing our students learn through hands-on experiences that inspire innovation, collaboration, and creativity. Great job to everyone who participated and showed off their engineering talents! πŸ‘

Huge shout out to our amazing FCA students for starting the day off by spreading kindness and appreciation across campus! πŸ©πŸ’™

On Friday, FCA handed out donuts and other sweet treats to our teachers and staff as a small way to say thank you for everything they do each and every day. Moments like this are what make Corbett such a special place. We are proud of our students for taking the time to serve others and show gratitude in such a meaningful way!

Thank you FCA for making our staff feel appreciated! πŸ™Œ

Today was such a special reminder to slow down and enjoy every moment. Our Clemens seniors stopped by Corbett to share some advice with our kiddos and cherish the little moments, make memories, and enjoy the journey because time truly flies by faster than you think. πŸ’™πŸ’›

Watching our younger students listen to those words from former Corbett Mustangs was incredibly meaningful. It’s amazing to see how quickly these students grow and the lasting connections built along the way.

We are so proud of our seniors and can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for them! 🐴

What an amazing moment today seeing some of our Clemens seniors come back to Corbett to visit the teachers, coaches, and staff members who helped shape them along the way. Seeing those connections years later is truly special and a reminder of what makes SCUC such an incredible community.

Moments like these show that the impact our educators have goes far beyond the classroom. We are so proud of these students and excited for all that is ahead of them.

Once a Mustang, always a Mustang πŸ΄πŸ’™πŸ’›
