The Bigelow Corners Partnership is an alliance bringing together community partners to meet the needs of families and children from infancy through adulthood working toward ensuring success at school, as well as in their homes and communities. Bigelow Corners Partnership is a project of five organizations: Schenectady Community Action Program, Northern Rivers Family Services, Schenectady City School District, Capital District Child Care Council, and The Schenectady Foundation - seeking to support families in raising their children to be competent, productive citizens, capable of one day raising their own successful families. The Bigelow Corners Partnership is focused on the neighborhood contiguous to Bigelow Avenue in Schenectady, where the primary partner organizations have programs and facilities. Our success hinges on developing a common culture and purpose, experienced, outstanding leadership, strong communications, team-work, and connections with the neighborhood and community resources.
