Get well Rick. He’s had some breathing issues during recent shows. He’s no spring chicken

There is so much more to Rick than being the comical guitarist and songwriter for Cheap Trick who looks like Satch from The Bowery Boys.

He is a hell of a musician and songwriter, with a remarkable history.

Rick and his wife Karen have been married since 1969, and this story says a lot about their relationship.

His son Daxx was born the same day Rick and his drummer Bun E Carlos were recording with John Lennon. Knowing how much Lennon meant to him, she told him to stay and do the session.

Lennon was so impressed with Rick’s playing that he talked about having cheap cheap chick becoming his touring band

Daxx played with the Beatles tribute band The Fab Faux, and has been Cheap Trick’s touring drummer since 2010.
