Magical Beginnings Learning Centers Schenectady Formerly, A Magic Kingdom, Magical Beginnings Schenectady offers nurturing care for infant through pre-k including an after care program for school age kids.

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:45pm. A Magic Kingdom is a nursery and daycare center, proudly serving working families for over 42 years. We care for babies and children, ages 6 weeks through school age. We offer infant care, a "waddler" program, 2 age-appropriate toddler rooms, and an extensive pre-K program in a full day setting. With programs focused on nurturing children's needs, education, and fun, our highly trained staff provides quality care. Our longevity means that we are now providing care for the children of some of our alumni! We thank all of our families for allowing us the privilege of caring for your children and letting us be part of your families!

💙🏰🩷 As you all know, A Magic Kingdom has been sold after almost 50 years of serving Schenectady and the surrounding areas. The daycare is now officially Magical Beginnings. We would like to thank all of our staff and families for all of their dedication and support over the years. Though it’s bittersweet for Sue Ellen and I, we will always hold our AMK family and all of our memories in a special place in our hearts.Thank you! 🩷🏰💙

🌊🦈💙🦈🌊 It was Shark Week on Discovery Channel and in the Rockin' Robin room!! We had so much fun singing silly songs, reading stories, learning shark facts, and doing shark projects. We wrapped up the week with a special shark bait snack. We were the sharks! A very special thanks to this cool guy whose family provided the snack! 🌊🐟🐚 The Weebles loved their Ocean theme! The children enjoyed sensory play with sand, seashells, ocean animals, and bubble wrap. We sang ocean songs, went fishing during circle time, and had fun at the water tables. For art, they used ocean stamps, made an ocean scene with bubble wrap painting and stickers, and created their own sensory bottles with blue water, sand, and rocks.
