Wear your blue Yates shirts tomorrow (Friday) for our school-wide assembly! Each class will have 2 award winners: Bringing up Grades (BUG) award and Student of the Month.

If you were unable to come to Back to School Night please sign up for a conference in November. November 16th or November 10th. They begin at 11:15 and end 2:30. As always reach out with any questions.

Our Special Schedule is on a 6 day rotation. It changes every week. Tomorrow Day E is an Art day. Feel free to send in a smock or an old extra large shirt. 🙂

Animal Land was so much fun! The weather cooperated and we made some wonderful memories our last week! 🦘🦓🦒🦄💜

Yates Elementary had a special visitor today! 🏀 Firefly Fisher showed us cool basketball tricks and talked to us about bullying. 🧡💙

We earned a bubble party today for working hard and showing kindness. 💕 Way to go first grade!

We took a sensory walk using our 5 senses then wrote about it!

We researched animals and wrote nonfiction All About Books. Then at our writer's celebration today, we shared our stories. 📚😎 ❤️
