We’re a proud partner of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dubuque, bringing robotics and coding into their programs. Together, we’re giving students hands on access to technology and helping them build confidence and problem solving skills.

Hear directly from Allison Klein, Director of Social and Educational Programs at the Boys & Girls Club, about the impact of the program.

Our Robo Wunderkind STEAM program is empowering 1st and 2nd graders to build, code, and create with confidence. From customizing colors to controlling movement and sound, these young learners are already thinking like engineers and problem-solvers.

A big thank you to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dubuque and the volunteers from Clarke University for making this experience possible!

AI is not magic.
AI is technology.

And if we want students to thrive in an AI-driven world, they need to understand how technology works, not just how to prompt a black box.

AI literacy is about teaching students the foundations:
• how systems sense the world
• how data becomes decisions
• how algorithms control machines
• how humans design and improve intelligent systems

This is exactly what we built the Robo Wunderkind Program to do.

Instead of only using AI tools, students build and program intelligent machines themselves. They learn how technology works from the inside out.

Recognized as Best AI Literacy Solution at the Best of STEM Awards, today, the Robo Wunderkind program empowers 40,000+ students across the United States to develop the skills needed for the AI future.

We're Proud of the teachers and students who are building the future with us.

More than 40,000 students across the U.S. are already learning AI with Robo Wunderkind by building it, not just using it.

Even in early elementary grades, students can explore AI models, train their own using real sensor data, and watch their robots make decisions in real time.

This is hands-on AI learning: creative, tangible, and empowering.

As AI becomes part of everyday life, students deserve more than access. They deserve understanding.

Robo Wunderkind is laying the foundation for AI literacy in K–5.

Robo Wunderkind combines hands-on building with structured learning to help students understand how intelligent systems work.

By keeping learning physical, creative, and student-led, we support schools in building strong foundations for future-ready skills.

Our mission remains clear:
To help schools prepare students for the Age of AI through meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences.

Thank you to the educators, school leaders, and partners who continue to build this future with us.

AI isn’t coming — it’s already in our classrooms.
But are our youngest learners prepared to understand it?

At Robo Wunderkind, we believe AI literacy should start early — with hands-on tools, real conversations, and empowered educators.

That’s why we’ve proposed a panel for SXSW EDU 2026:
“Should We Teach AI Before It Teaches Us? – K–5 x AI Literacy”

We’re bringing together voices from across education:
🎤 Shannon McClintock Miller– K–12 Librarian & EdTech Leader
🎤 Kendrick Alston, Ed.D. – Principal at a pioneering robotics elementary school
🎤 Quiana Bannerman – Director at the Maryland Center for Computing Education

Now we need your support to bring this critical discussion to the stage.

✅ Voting is open until August 24
✅ Link is in the comments — it only takes a minute
✅ Every vote helps push AI literacy for K–5 into the spotlight

If you believe:

- Every child should understand the tech shaping their future
- AI should be explored, not feared
- Teachers deserve tools they can trust

Then please vote, like, and share.

🚀 We’re launching something BIG for the next generation of thinkers and creators!

Today’s kids are growing up surrounded by AI - yet most elementary classrooms still aren’t teaching it. We believe that needs to change.

🎉 That’s why Robo Wunderkind is launching the first hands-on AI Literacy Curriculum for K-5:

💜 25 hours of structured, play-based learning
💜 Aligned with ISTE’s AI in Education Guidelines
💜 Includes teacher training on AI fundamentals—no tech background required

We’re reserving 10 pilot spots for districts ready to lead in AI literacy for young learners. If you’re working at the intersection of AI, education, and equity, we’d love to connect!

Let’s make sure the next generation doesn’t just use AI—they help build it.
