Scoops, smiles, and community connections ๐ฆ๐
We loved partnering with Chick-fil-A for Cone with a Cop! Families spent the evening making thank-you cards, playing games with the Schaumburg Police Department, and stopping by The Gardner School craft table to create ice cream slime.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for a sweet night of fun, gratitude, and building positive relationships within our community.

The early childhood years are filled with milestones, questions, celebrations, and transitions. While we often focus on a child's learning journey, there's another piece that's just as important: community.
When families feel welcomed, known, and connected, children benefit too. Strong relationships between parents, caregivers, teachers, and school leaders create a sense of belonging that helps children build confidence, emotional security, and social skills. Regular communication and trusted partnerships between home and school provide the consistency young children need to thrive.
The small moments matterโa familiar face at drop-off, a supportive conversation with another parent, or a teacher who truly knows your child. These connections create a foundation of trust and support that can make the early years feel less overwhelming and far more meaningful.
Because when children grow within a caring community, everyone grows together. โค๏ธ

Myra the therapeutic golden retriever came to visit us last Friday! Myra is a certified comfort dog that serves the community through Lutheran Church Charities in Park Ridge. She provides therapeutic comfort, emotional support, and a calming presence to individuals, first responders, and communities.
Myra visited classrooms and worked very hard by lying down and getting pets and scratches from usโso much so that she fell asleep. What a life! ๐พ๐

Confidence starts long before a child says their first words. ๐
From exploring new environments to mastering small milestones, infants build confidence through everyday moments of discovery, connection, and encouragement. When children feel safe, supported, and celebrated, they develop the trust and self-assurance that help them thrive for years to come. ๐ฑโจ
