🚲🛴 Attention E-Bike & E-Scooter Owners!

If you or someone you know rides an e-bike or e-scooter, please take a moment to read and share this important information. Your quick share could help keep our community informed and safe!

📢 Please share with friends, family, and neighbors who ride.

🚲E-BIKES & E-SCOOTERS🛴

We're continuing to receive complaints involving juveniles riding electric bikes and electric scooters recklessly through neighborhoods, parks, parking lots, the golf course, and on private property.

We want everyone to enjoy riding safely, but safety and respect for others must come first. Parents and guardians, please take a moment to review the rules and expectations with your children before they ride.

Please remember:
🚫No riding E-bikes and E-scooters on sidewalks
1️⃣6️⃣Riders must be at least 16 years old
🛑Obey all traffic laws and signs
➡️Ride with traffic and use bike lanes where permitted
👀Stay alert and avoid distracted riding
🚫No double riding
🏡Respect private property and shared community spaces

Parents/guardians may be held financially responsible for damage caused by juveniles riding recklessly or in prohibited areas.

Please also note:
▪️Electric scooters (low-speed and high-speed) and electric bicycles (Class 1, 2 and 3) require riders be at least 16 years old.
▪️E-Motos (electric dirt bikes/minibikes) powered by motors greater than 750 watts, without pedals and equipped only with pegs, require a valid driver's license, registration and insurance to operate legally.
▪️Traditional bikes are permitted to be ridden on sidewalks.
