It is with Deep Regrets that I received the news of the Passing of Edgar Potillo in New York.

I knew him as a Sincere and Dedicated student of the Martial Arts, a Trustworthy Friend, and a Valued Companion with whom I had the Honor of Sharing a part of this Life's Journey.

His advice and counseling my son was Priceless. All mortal men commit errors, but Only those with the Courage can overcome them.

Rest in Peace my Friend.

"If you teach the same Method every night, the Student's Technique becomes very Strong, but he becomes very dependent on the Movements. This inhibits the Free Workings of the Mind, and the Student loses his 'Presence of Mind'. If you teach many Different Methods so that the Student doesn't See the same method too often, he is then Free.
In Combat to react as Best he can based upon his Judgment and Appraisal of the Situation. He then has the Ch'an Mind."
