Recently, I had the honor of studying biomechanics with an expert in the field. This individual is helping people from all walks of life, including elite athletes, optimize their bodily functions.
His understanding of the relationship between movements and structures throughout the body is exceptional. However, what stands out most is his emphasis on being grounded and present in the body. He focuses on taking individuals out of survival mode and guiding them safely into their world so they can thrive, optimizing their nervous systems in the process.
I often mix my messages intentionally. I know that when I discuss mindset or belief systems, some may want to tune out, thinking it has nothing to do with the body. That perspective is misguided.
As we begin to connect these concepts, the realization that life is fully interactive and can be viewed as a form of meditation becomes clear. This understanding fosters grounding and safety, allowing individuals to transition from survival mode into healing.
