These name tags that we use on the dance floor for our youngest dancers will surely help welcome them to class this week. Classes start tomorrow, Monday, August 31st. I can’t wait!

DANCE SHOES: An email was sent to all families yesterday sharing a link to our season overview with this photo. Our favorite local store for professional dance shoe fittings is Petit Jeté Dance Boutique in Brunswick. Please mention you are from “Small Steps” for a discount. Miss Noelle and I were just there a few weekends ago so she could be fitted for ballet shoes for college. 🩷🩰💚 They are fabulous! Please tell them “Ms. Betsy” sent you.

Any guesses on the 2027 Dance Recital Theme?
First clue: I’m reusing the theme from 2007. So it will be 20 years since we’ve done the theme. This also happens to be the year my oldest daughter, Miss Noelle was born. More clues to come. As always, the dance studio will be decorated with the theme the first week of classes! 🩷💛🩵

We loved seeing you all at Scarborough SummerFest. We gave out almost 500 LED balloons. We love how they look during the Fireworks! 💡🎈🎇
