Day 3 of Sculpture camp we learned about Terra Cotta, how it was used way back in 210 BC in China to create over 6,000 soldiers for emperor Qin Shi Huang’s tomb & how terra cotta pottery from Mexico is still created today. Students followed their own ideas & used sculpting tools to create their own special creations including bowls, heads, a lizard🦎 a tadpole & a spider🕷️
