FFA members traveled to Junction City yesterday to compete in the Farm Bureau-sponsored Discussion Meet LDE! Participants were Erica Lieb, Tarryn Isaacson, Owen Russell, Peter Newman, Connor Garman, and Brandt Carlgren served as a moderator. Owen and Peter made it to semi-finals and all members learned a lot by watching other members!

Pike Valley FFA members had an exciting FFA Week!

On Tuesday, we welcomed ag industry professionals Lauren Field, Mason Runft, Andrew Garman, Lindsay Runft, and Neely Kohmetscher for our all-school Ag Career Panel. We thank them for sharing their stories, advice, and wisdom about how their journey in life, FFA, and ag has gotten them where they are today!

Wednesday was our FFA Community Breakfast! It was a great turnout and we are thankful for our continued community support!

We had a scavenger hunt on Thursday for FFA members to search the school for hidden FFA emblems - all 10 emblems were found and prizes were awarded!

Friday welcomed Kansas State FFA Officers Bricen Benyshek and Dustin Denton to lead a workshop on leadership, trust, and communication. PV FFA participants had a blast and we thank them for traveling to see us!

Yesterday (Saturday) closed out our busy week with the FFA Barn Dance. Lots of line and swing dancing fun was had by all!

Here’s how it works:
✔️ When a donor makes a gift, they select a specific FFA chapter
✔️ Each designated gift automatically enters that chapter’s district into the drawing
✔️ We’ll announce one winning district LIVE at 4 PM and 8 PM
✔️ Districts can win more than once — so keep the momentum going!

After today, chapters within winning districts that received designated gifts can apply for the grant (applications due March 31).
