“Happy Birthday to Brother Benjamin Franklin, born on this day in 1706! 🕯️✨ A proud Freemason, Franklin joined the fraternity in 1731 at St. John’s Lodge in Philadelphia, later serving as Grand Master of Pennsylvania. His Masonic values of wisdom, charity, and brotherhood guided his life as a statesman, inventor, and writer.

From co-signing the Declaration of Independence to his experiments with electricity and the founding of institutions like the American Philosophical Society, Franklin’s legacy is as boundless as his curiosity.

As he once said, *’An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.’* Let us honor his life by continuing to seek light and share it with others.

Connetquot’s first annual “Hibachi Under the Stars” event was a great success! A huge THANK YOU to the Brothers, friends and family who made it out to celebrate with us this past Monday! 🔥🍤🍴🥩🍺

We had an absolute blast, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the Brothers of Connetquot who pitched in to make this possible, and the folks who came out to enjoy some fellowship, food and saki! … Shout out to Chef Volcano!

This is one for the books that we will definitely be doing again in the future. Check out some of these photos!

We will have some new SFM Merchandise for purchase this season, so stop by the Sayville Farmers Market Wine booth in the coming weeks to check out what we're making!

Wall on Easter Island
There is an old saying, “a photograph is worth a thousand words” but sometimes a photo will ask a thousand questions. The construction of this wall is the in the same style that is seen in Peru and other places around the world. Today we do not have the technology to constructed these stone walls today yet in very ancient times on a small island in the Pacific Ocean, Peru, Egypt and other places around the world they had this knowledge on how to form-fit stones. Modern archaeologists tell us that these parts of the world had no contact with each other in very ancient times; yet they had the same advanced technology for stone construction.

If there was unknown advanced civilizations on earth 50,000 or over 100,000 years ago, one of the few things that would survive this length of time would be stone objects. There are many things in this world that does not fit into modern archaeologists and scientists notion of “known written history”.

Flat arches with 'hanging' masonry supporting the arena floor of the Colosseum: precise Roman construction using no mortar. Laid upon a frame that was then removed, the central keystone has held the bricks in place since the 1st century AD.
