That’s right, Lincoln Lions! Our PARP (Pick a Reading Partner) Principal’s Challenge is officially underway!

The two classes that read the most over the next two weeks will earn the chance to help tape Mr. Armano to the wall!

Every minute logged and every page turned gets your class closer to a VERY sticky victory.

Read 20 minutes a night.

We kicked off PARP today with a special author visit from Mr. Chris Soentpiet, thanks to our amazing ! Our students were inspired and reminded that reading opens doors to imagination, creativity, and endless possibilities.

We are incredibly proud to share that one of our amazing students earned First Place at the Elementary Science Fair held at Brookhaven National Laboratory! This outstanding achievement is a testament to hard work, curiosity, and a true love of learning. Competing at such an incredible venue makes this accomplishment even more special. Way to represent Lincoln Avenue with excellence and pride — the entire school community is cheering you on!

Shout-out to Mrs. Bailey and her class, .baileysbesties for exploring meaningful ways to show kindness through a thoughtful and engaging lesson. Students worked together to chart different ways to be kind, helping them organize and reflect on their ideas. The lesson seamlessly integrated social-emotional learning and literacy while small-group rotations supported smooth transitions and high levels of student engagement. Keep up the fantastic work!

Today, we proudly honored our first group of students who earned Paw Praise! 🐾 Paw Praise is an initiative designed to celebrate students when they demonstrate positive qualities such as kindness, responsibility, perseverance, leadership, and respect for others. We are incredibly proud of our students and the positive choices they are making each day in our school community. Way to lead by example—keep up the great work!
