To our parents and our community, we wanted to share this exciting event that we were just informed of:

We are excited to invite your students and families to a Sensory-Friendly Day at Harbes Family Farm on Saturday, April 25th from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

This special event is designed to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for children with sensory sensitivities and disabilities, allowing them to enjoy the farm at their own pace.

During this time, we will be making several thoughtful accommodations, including:

- Silent hayrides

- No music played throughout the farm

- Communication papers available to assist with interactions

- Designated quiet areas for breaks as needed

- Pig races will begin after 1:00 PM to maintain a calmer atmosphere

Admission is $29.95 per person.

As a thank you for attending, all guests that morning will receive 20% off season passes, with the option to upgrade at the end of your visit.

Our goal is to provide an inclusive experience where all children and their families can explore, play, and enjoy everything the farm has to offer in a supportive setting.

We would love for your school community to join us and experience how accessible and enjoyable a day at the farm can be for every child.

LEEWAY IS HIRING!!

We are looking for: Teacher’s Aides & 1:1 Aides

As a Teacher's Aide, you will provide ongoing care in our school setting by assisting all of the childen in the classroom with hygiene, during meal times and assisting the teachers in implementing the education program.

As a 1:1 aide, you will be providing ongoing care to one specific student and assisting in classroom routines, personal hygiene, and meal times.

Hours for position: 9:00AM -3:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday to Friday

**⚠️❄️☃️Final Snowfall Forecast☃️❄️⚠️**

We have been watching this trend⬆️ since yesterday and it looks like this low wants to develop quickly along the front and get into some decent banding back to the island throughout the event. Widespread 3-5” of snow ❄️ is expected and SOMEONE might come close to 6” of snow.

Timing is on the bottom. But generally rain/mix begins tonight sometime after 9pm, but will turn to all snow by midnight. Moderate snow will fall throughout the overnight hours into Sunday morning and end by late morning on Sunday.

⚠️🚙Roads will be hazardous so please avoid if possible⚠️

Please help us out by sharing this post everywhere you can! Our goal is 90,000 followers and we are almost there!
