The Nutrition Group at Sayre Area School District

Sayre High School celebrated National Waffle day with a fun special menu including emoji waffles, Belgian Waffles and Dutch waffles with a variety of toppings - chocolate syrup, maple syrup, sprinkles, whipped topping and sliced strawberries! Sweet Potato waffle fries went along with the meal as a vegetable choice! Some of the students said it was the best "breakfast for lunch day"ever! Thanks SHS cafeteria team for going above and beyond!

TNG's star character, Molly the Cow, came to visit with folks attending the F3Fest in the park in Sayre on Saturday, 8.7! Molly, as always, was a hit with young and old alike! Molly was there to promote healthy food habits, including dairy foods!

How awesome! No need to pack lunch, or rush for breakfast at home! All students can eat both meals for free this school year! See you and your students soon at SASD!

Sherry Middlebrook serves up fresh turkey cheese subs as part of the free lunch at Sayre High. Free breakfast and lunch is offered every weekday!

Reminder that we are serving free breakfast from 8:30 - 9:00 AM and free lunch from 11:30 AM to noon every weekday, from 6.14 to 7.23 (no service on 7.5.) Those at Rec who are packing meals can still get a free "meal" if they take milk and fruit with another item to add to their packed meal.

The Snyder cafeteria staff were all smiles on the last day of school as they delivered bag lunches to the students - but then they are always "all smiles!"

We were honored to cater both the senior banquet and the senior breakfast. Denee Horton, Snyder cafeteria manager, was both a caterer AND the mother of a grad, Mikala Horton! Congrats to all!
