The Sayre Public School Foundation is excited to welcome our students, teachers, staff, and administrators back for another school year! 📚
As your classrooms come back to life, we want to express our heartfelt “Thank you!” to our educators and staff who dedicate themselves to creating opportunities for our students. Your work goes beyond the classroom—it reaches families, community members, and more. Thank you for your tireless work, support, and heart for our students.

Congratulations to Sayre teacher, Tiffany Hayes, who was the winner of the $250 cash prize donated by the Sayre Public School Foundation! As another school year begins, we're glad to be a part of the many individuals and businesses who provide prizes for the Sayre back to school teacher drawings!

🍑 We have been notified that the peach delivery date has changed. If you pre-ordered peaches or honey, please pick them up Thursday, August 13, between 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. at the Beckham County Barn located behind the courthouse.
🍑 Please make arrangements to have your items picked up no later than 5:30 pm on Thursday. We don't have the storage space to keep items cool. Items that are not picked up by 5:30 p.m. will be donated to the school.

We’re taking orders until July 30, 2026. Cunningham shares some great recipes for the delicious fruit! Support Sayre students and teachers by ordering yours before it’s too late!

Cunningham Peaches is offering two pre order options at the following suggested donation prices this year:
🍑 Full box of large #1 peaches - $53
🍯 24 oz. jar of raw high altitude honey - $17
Payment MUST BE CASH or CHECK, credit cards will not be accepted.

📣 ATTENTION ALL SAYRE PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATORS, DON’T DELAY—THE DEADLINE IS TOMORROW... The Sayre Public School Foundation wants to maximize the use of grant money in the classroom therefore grant applications are now open. By awarding grants at the end of June supplies will be ordered over the summer and available to begin the 2026-27 school year.

💴 Available grant money this period is $17,500. There is no set limit on how much you can request in your grant application. Be innovative! What will be the most impactful in the classroom and beyond?

📆 The deadline to apply is TOMORROW, May 27, 2026 at 3 p.m. Late applications will not be considered.

We would like to announce Payton Ewer as the recipient of The Rizley Family Education Scholarship. The Rizley family established the scholarship to provide financial assistance to a student who exhibited a passion for a career in teaching.

Payton's plans are to attend SWOSU and pursue a degree in early childhood education.
"Becoming an early childhood teacher is more than a career choice. It is my passion. By pursuing this path, I hope to make a lasting impact on the lives of my students and help them develop the skills, confidence, and love for learning that will stay with them for years to come."

Congratulations, Payton! We have faith you will "inspire student success".

Just a reminder before all the end of the school year hustle and bustle... If you received a teacher's grant during the 2025-26 school year, this is your reminder to submit your final report by the May 8 deadline. Failure to submit reports will eliminate the recipient from receiving a grant during the next grant period. Final reports should be emailed to [email protected].
