Attendance matters! Especially during the first 20 days of school, when our attendance numbers are counted toward our school’s funding. Every day matters, and we appreciate you making every effort to have your child at school as much as possible. Be sure to check our handbook for information about excused absences, and always communicate with your child’s teacher when your child will be absent.

Our teacher workdays have been PACKED! From team meetings and classroom setup to some incredible professional learning, our staff is already hard at work preparing for another amazing year at Hawbridge! This week, our team had the opportunity to work directly with the Kenan Fellows Program to deepen our understanding, expand our resources, and strengthen our practice around place-based education.

And while we’re getting ready to welcome our students back, we’re also looking for an amazing educator to join our school family! 💚We’re currently hiring for an Adaptive Curriculum Teacher!

Hawbridge is a special place, rooted in place-based education, restorative practices, inclusivity, and meaningful relationships. If you know an educator who wants to be part of a collaborative team and make a difference in the lives of students, send them our way!
