Communal living is no longer just a 'hippie thing' - even Silicon Valley's best and brightest are seeking the benefits of shared spaces.✨

"Seven people live here, from the ivy league of Silicon Valley companies, such as Apple, Google and Tesla. They are from America, the UK, Serbia and Moldova. While none are blood related, they call each other family."

Over the rainbow Communal living is back in vogue, especially among Silicon Valley’s young technology workers

If you knit, or even if you don't but are wiling to learn, this is a beautiful organization to get involved in!

A wonderful article written about Disaster Management graduate and humanitarian Brittany and why she knits for Knit Aid:

'It's not solving the crisis, it's not giving them a permanent home or stopping the French government from bulldozing the camp, but it's still something you can do to make their everyday lives that little bit better. And I think if you can do something, then you should.'

Plastic ain't fantastic. Every piece carries its own story, it's own future path. From the toys we give our children, to our water bottles. Our relationship with this product needs to change and be relearned. How long will our natural world continue to see these effects? How much longer must we continue to create them and add more plastic into the environment? This photo was taken last week in this Mermaids' home town on the San Francisco Bay. It's all about reuse and minimizing.
