It's Monday and these are the types of random questions we get from our curious littles. Maybe not this particular one but you get the idea😝

🤓Their curious minds allow them to see and think beyond what we often take for granted.

🤓Today I challenge you to stop and smell the roses or take time to follow them where their imagination takes them.

🤓Encourage creativity and imagination you never know who or what you could be nurturing.

Play allows the learner to explore their imagination and creativity and tap into their God given gifts and abilities. During play children build confidence and develop necessary cognitive skills and abilities.

Encourage your child to play and explore without the constraints of our ideas keep them safe but let them be.

We've all had those moments of watching our kiddos in amazement. What's something your child has done that blew your mind?

My oldest daughter was THE pickiest eater. At a certain point she would only eat mac n cheese she even went through a phase as a toddler of only eating salad. Yes, imagine the looks we got when we ordered our toddler a salad👀.

As a mommy of 4, I know how tough it can be preparing meals for kiddos that want what they want but leaning into it and finding creative ways of getting them involved in the process helps broaden their choices and likelihood of trying something new.

Erik Erikson's stages of psychosocial development showed us that allowing her the space to choose what she wants helped to develop her autonomy (a greater sense of self-control)

Being a parent is being on 24/7 with no sick days however it is very rewarding that makes it all worth it.

How do you reward yourself for short-term successes like making it through the day?

I like to read or listen to a book quietly, watch my favorite show, enjoy an at-home mani/pedi or sneak away and grab a snack and eat it in the car or tucked away in my bed.

I don't know about you but a night of no cooking is a win for me😉. So when the kids are winning on and off the field a celebration is always in order right?🤷‍♀️

The big question is always WHAT'S FOR DINNER!?! When they won the big game or scored an A+ on their finals and there's nothing in the crockpot, oven, or stovetop what's your go-to; pizza or burgers? Or does your family enjoy another fan fav?
