The Coastal Empire Beekeepers Association serves members in Savannah, Georgia, and surrounding areas. We have both classroom meetings and apiary meetings.

CEBA manages the public apiary at the Oatland Island Wildlife Center. CEBA is a club for beekeepers both new and experienced who enjoy working with bees and learning about bees on a continued basis. It is a great way to learn more about the art of keeping bees and also a great way to meet other beekeepers in the Savannah area. Oatland Island Wildlife Center hosted a visit from the Department of Agriculture. Our speaker(s) attending were Kelly Miranda & Chris Adams. CEBA Members and the public had an opportunity to review the educational information on the Yellow-legged hornet; see all the different stages of nest building; and inspect an open dissection of a fully mature hornet nest!
