Sign up for Homeschool Band! This program is an opportunity for students that are homeschooled or at schools that don’t offer a band program to come together and discover their musical potential! Our instructor, Anthony Lacivita, is a trumpet performer and who his Masters of Music Degree from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in trumpet performance from Gardner Webb University. He currently performs with orchestras, bands, and chamber groups and is pursuing a Doctorate in Education from Liberty University. Orientation is February 24 from 4-5 pm at Portman's Music Superstore! Click to call for more information!

HOMESCHOOL
THEATRE ARTS!
Students will gain knowledge of theatre techniques and vocabulary while building skills in
listening, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, risk-taking, and group awareness
through improvisation, theatre games, movement, and scene work. The class culminates in
a fun final performance for friends and family!
Class limit: 12 students
Total Cost: $110

About the Instructor: Joanna Walchuk is a celebrated actress and
director with a passion for inspiring kids to discover through the magic
of theater. From teaching drama at Savannah Country Day School to
directing productions like The Lion King, Jr. and Twelfth Night, to
acting alongside stars like Mira Sorvino and Sylvester Stallone,
Joanna brings energy, creativity, and a love for storytelling to every
class. She invites kids to explore their creativity, build confidence, and
shine both on and off the stage!
