One thing I loved at the OGA conference was the inspiring message to 👑 KEEP CALM AND OG ON 👑. This yearly gathering of “my OG people” is filled with mentors, colleagues and friends, new and old. It is an amazing time to share, collaborate, encourage one another, and grow. I always return exhilarated to jump back into training and mentoring more OG practitioners and reaching more students. It’s time to 👑 KEEP CALM AND OG ON! 👑

I was so proud to attend my Fellow in Training’s presentation on Vocabulary Instruction Grounded in the OGA Principles at last week’s conference! Jennifer did an amazing job connecting the Principles to OG instruction, including strong research, and explaining through real-life examples. She also introduced some engaging and meaningful ways to embed this instruction within your lesson plans. I can’t to see what she brings to our OG community in this coming year!
