It has been quite a year so far for Raider Mark Langston '19. He was a starter for the National Championship Hoosiers in football. That included a trip to the White House, where Mark and a few of his teammates got to go to the Oval Office. Mark is the last one on the right. This week, he was named First Team Academic All-American by CSC while majoring in Business Administration. Congratulations, Mark!

Savannah Christian had a big night at the Greater Savannah Athletic Hall of Fame on Monday Night. Mark Grainger ’77 and DeAngelo Brown ’12 were inducted into the hall as athletes. Jillian Austin ’26 (Softball) and Blaise Thomas ’26 (Football) were honored as the best players in their respective sports. Past Raider inductees Carl Carter ’74, Ken Griner ’77, and Julie Jones ’93 were also at the ceremony. SCPS was well represented, including head football coach Baker Woodward, Athletic Director Greg Phillips, and Certified Physician Assistant Dan Vacala. Savannah Christian now has 11 members in the GSAHOF. Go Raiders!

Alumni, we’d love to have you back on campus for our Senior Send-Off on Friday, May 1 at 9:30 AM. Come cheer on our seniors as they take their final lap around campus—a meaningful tradition you won’t want to miss!

Congratulations to Gracie Phillips, class of 2024, and her Georgia Southern Cheerleading Team. The Eagles won the NCA Intermediate All-Girl 1A Division National Championship. The competition took place this weekend in Daytona! Go Raiders!
