Congratulations to a few of our Raiders recently honored as they continue their baseball careers. Ely Brown '23 helped win a South Atlantic League title with the White Sox affiliate in Winston-Salem. Cooper George '21 was recently named Player of the Week in Australia's Great Western League. And Chase Boyer '26 was "Dog of the Day" Saturday at The Citadel. Go Raiders!

We wanted to share a couple of pictures, including former Raiders spotted in red during last weekend's football games. Lucy Thompson '24, Grace Stoever '24, and Julia Ronning '24, were with Elenor McCurry during the Bulldogs' game. They were honored for starting the CURE Childhood Cancer chapter at the University of Georgia. Also over at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Elena Tovar '24 is in her third season as the Yellow Jackets' Feature Twirler. Thank you all for representing us so well.

Congratulations to Raider Mickey Minick '74. Mickey is back at the club that helped him sharpen his basketball skills before becoming one of the best ever at Savannah Christian. Well done, "Magic." Go Raiders!

📣 Big News from the Jenkins Athletic Club! 📣
The Jenkins Athletic Club is proud and excited to introduce our new Assistant Director, Coach Mickey Minick! 🎉
Coach Mickey has worked closely alongside Coach Corey for many years while serving as a dedicated member of the Jenkins Athletic Club Board of Directors for nearly 20 years. His passion for our mission and the youth of Savannah has been evident every step of the way.
Like so many of us, Mickey's story began at the Boys Club. He grew up as a member, experienced firsthand the impact the club can have on a young person's life, and later chose to give back by serving on our board. Now, after retiring and stepping away from the board, he has come full circle and is dedicating himself full-time to serving the next generation as our Assistant Director.
A fun fact many of you may not know—Mickey's father made such a tremendous impact on youth sports in Savannah that an entire athletic complex bears his name. The Minick Complex on Sallie Mood Drive stands as a lasting reminder of his family's commitment to our community.
Coach Mickey's heart for kids, leadership, and lifelong connection to the club make him the perfect person for this role, and we couldn't be more excited about the future.
Please join us in giving Coach Mickey Minick a warm Jenkins Athletic Club welcome! If you see him around the gym, be sure to introduce yourself, say hello, and help us congratulate him on this exciting new chapter.
