We are a Montessori Preschool & Child Care Facility lovingly serving children 6 weeks to 6 years of We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 6 pm.
Our classrooms are equipped with a wide range of books, teacher made materials and manipulative learning tools which are the hallmark of Montessori's hands-on
learning philosophy. Our goal is to meet each child’s needs so that his/her potential is realized, and so they develop a good foundation academically, socially, physically and psychologically to prepare them for life. We serve our children breakfast, hot lunch, and an afternoon snack each day.

I apologize to everyone for what shows up on this page I do not know how to take it down. I do not know how to stop all this that’s popping up on it but this school was closed in July 2018. It was a wonderful Montessori school, but because of health issues I had to close may God bless you all as he has blessed me

Ladies what say you
As of July 27th Southern Montessori Academy closed its doors, hopefully this will be temporary because the school is for sale. The owner and Director, Ms. Grace Althen Neal has had some serious health issues which made this necessary. We hope the school will sell quickly so it isn't closed for too long.
I want to thank every parent and child that has come through our door, it has been our great privilege to be a part of your life. God Bless and keep each of you in his care.

In observance of Memorial Day SMA will be closed on Monday, May 28. We will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday. Please have a fun and safe weekend.
