🎉🏛️ Congratulations to our SCAD IPAL Graduates! 🏛️🎉🐝❤️
Today, we celebrate an extraordinary milestone. These graduates have successfully completed all three pillars of professional licensure—education, experience, and examinations—and are now officially licensed architects!
From left to right:
✨ Ted Ginsburg has always been passionate about architecture. He is excited to begin this next chapter as a licensed architect and make a meaningful impact on the profession.
✨ Sydney Garceau, from Bethlehem, Connecticut, discovered her love for design while building with LEGO® as a child. She now looks forward to practicing as a licensed architect and will be joining a firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, upon graduation.
✨ Keagan Plume successfully balanced the demands of being a student-athlete while pursuing architecture. She is excited to bring the discipline, dedication, and teamwork developed through those experiences to her professional career at a firm in Baltimore, Maryland.
✨ Payton Rohrbaugh has long been interested in how thoughtful design and the use of space can positively influence communities. As a newly licensed architect, he is eager to apply the knowledge and skills gained at SCAD to make a lasting difference through architecture.
We are incredibly proud of their achievements and dedication. Please join us in congratulating these outstanding graduates as they begin the next phase of their professional journeys. The future of architecture is bright! 👏🎓🏛️🐝🐝🐝🐝❤️❤️❤️

Between Tradition and Tomorrow: Sketching Urban China —— Winter Short-term Excursion 2026-2027
With Professor Peili Wang (SCAD Atlanta) drawing becomes more than representation—it becomes understanding. Students will immerse themselves in the dynamic urban landscapes of Shanghai, Chongqing, and Chengdu, exploring the dialogue between past and future. From period furniture and historic drawings to artworks in classic interiors, the experience reveals the cultural layers that shape these cities, alongside their most treasured architectural and sculptural works.
Through a range of drawing techniques, students will build a strong, portfolio-ready body of work—enhanced by reflective writing and curated materials. This journey is both an artistic exploration and an opportunity to experience new places, perspectives, and possibilities.
Contact Professor Wang or Study Abroad department for more information.
