👩💻 2023-2024 Student Registration 🧑💻
Hardin County Schools utilizes an online registration process which allows parents or guardians to register their student using an internet-connected device.
Parents or guardians with a student in grades Kindergarten – 12 may begin registering students for the 2023-2024 school year on May 1. The open enrollment window will extend through June 30, 2023.
Parents or guardians who wish to request a school other than the school for which they are zoned are highly encouraged to complete the registration during the open enrollment period because these students will receive a priority status for admission into the requested school.
It is very important for parents or guardians who currently have a student in the school system to complete the process as well. This ensures that your student’s school has an updated address, updated phone numbers, updated emergency contact information, updated information concerning who can and cannot check your student out of school, updated medical information as well as other important information.
To register your child, please visit the Hardin County Schools district website at hardincoschools.com. Click on the “Registration” link at the top of the page, and then follow the directions. You may also pick up printed directions at any school or at the Hardin County Board of Education. Please ask for the “Blue” registration sheet.

THANK YOU teachers for making such a difference in our students lives. You are appreciated! ❤️

Happy Appreciation Day to Mr. B! We love you!
Happy Administrative Professionals Day to our amazing office staff! We appreciate everything Mrs. Freeda Gray and Mrs. Angie Lunsford do for our students, parents, teachers, and staff at East Hardin!
Students in Mrs. Molly Browder’s class have been preparing for TCAP in RTI with the "TCAP Prep Olympics"!
In the Olympics, students had a blast practicing both Math and Reading through games and hands on practice! Grade levels were awarded points based on hard work, attitude, and correct answers.
5th grade shined bright placing first, winning an ice cream sundae party. They had a whopping 240 points! 3rd and 2nd grade tied for a close second!
Second grade reviewed for Math TCAP last week. The students earned classroom money for every correct problem. They also earned money for good behavior during ELA TCAP testing this week. The students were allowed to use their funds to buy a movie ticket and spend it on concessions.
Guidance classes also celebrated Earth Day! They learned about the three R’s (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) and went on a nature scavenger hunt. 🌳 🦋 ☀️
Today is Earth Day! 🌎 So, Pre-K celebrated yesterday. They mixed pudding, Oreos, and gummy worms 🐛 together to make a dirt snack. Then, created their own Earths from coffee filters, markers, and water. Pre-K loves their Earth . It's the only one we have and we need to learn how to take care of it!
Reviewing for TCAP can still be fun! 4th grade played Jenga and practiced for the Science TCAP!
📝 TCAP Testing begins tomorrow (Monday, April 17th) for students in 2nd - 5th grade.
📚 Good Luck! We are so proud of our students and teachers for all of their hard work preparing for the TCAP TESTS.
What does the shape say? 🦊🦊🦊🦊
2nd grade has been working hard to prepare for TCAP! Today, they made foxes out of 3D shapes and identified their attributes.
Happy Easter! May today bring peace, joy, and happiness to you and yours. 🐰❤️
Do you have a 4 year old who is ready for Pre-K? If so, sign them up for Pre-K for the 2023-2025 school year!
Happy Paraprofessional Day to our awesome paraprofessionals! ❤️ We are so very thankful for all of their hard work and dedication to the students, staff, and parents of East Hardin! We have the BEST!
