New Oak Theatre is a professional non-union theatre located in Savannah, Georgia. New Oak Theatre seeks to launch a preview season in 2025.

New Oak Theatre was founded in 2023 and is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We are a non-equity professional theatre aiming to produce a wide variety of plays and musicals ranging from classics to modern works. We are a place where people will gather and experience art and community in the heart of historic Savannah, Georgia.

The last show of our season is... LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT! "Long Day's Journey into Night" is the 1956 autobiographical four-act masterwork by American playwright Eugene O'Neill. Set in August 1912 at a Connecticut summer home, the play portrays a harrowing single day in the life of the dysfunctional Tyrone family as they grapple with addiction, illness, and deep-seated resentments.

The third show of our season is... NEXT TO NORMAL! The story centers on a mother who struggles with worsening bipolar disorder and the effects that managing her illness has on her family. The musical addresses grief, depression, su***de, drug abuse, ethics in modern psychiatry, and the underbelly of suburban life.
