There’s something powerful about watching a young person realize they are stronger than they thought.
This weekend, members of 100 Black Men of Savannah, Inc. joined our youth for an intensive self-defense and Krav Maga session. From striking drills to ground defense, our students didn’t just learn techniques—they learned focus, respect, and the value of showing up for themselves.
To every parent, mentor,and instructor who made this possible: thank you. This is what community looks like.

Spring break, reimagined! Our mentees spent part of their Spring break inside the Hyundai Metaplant—and their minds were BLOWN.
Innovation around every turn. They saw possibilities in skills for robotic, IT, welding, finance and more. Our young people watched in awe as robotic arms danced in perfect precision, technology came to life before their eyes, and they witnessed firsthand how innovation meets opportunity on a massive scale. The "wow" moments came fast and furious!

What an incredible Real Talk Saturday Session, Today!
Special thanks to all of the mentors, C100 members, mentees, and parents who showed up and made today’s session a tremendous success. With over 50 participants in attendance, we had a strong turnout of mentors that allowed us to divide the students into seven engaging discussion groups, creating space for meaningful dialogue and mentorship.
The parents were not left out either! Douglas led an outstanding parents-only discussion, which proved to be just as impactful and well received.
This is Mentoring the 100 Way in action!
