She has always gone above and beyond to make sure the learners and volunteers are well taken care of and supported, and always gives a word of encouragement to any adult learner who crosses her path. Khani is truly passionate about making Savannah a better place to live by helping people who need an educational boost in order to become more self-sufficient and attain life-changing opportunities and believe the ability to read, write, and speak proficiently is a fundamental skill that affects learning experiences, academic performance, and employment opportunities."
