Financial Clutter Is Hiding in Your Closet - Are you a SAVER?
While working on expanding the Rewire for a Wealthy Brain course, I realized something profound:
Financial clutter doesn’t just live in your bank account.
It lives in your closet.
Your wardrobe tells the story of your spending habits, your saving habits, and your investing habits.
And just like money, your clothing decisions reflect your mindset.
When you apply the three pillars of spending, saving, and investing to your closet, you begin to see clearly what is serving you—and what is silently draining you.
The Saver: The Emotional Archivist
Let's focus on the saver.
Not someone saving money.
Someone saving clothes.
You might be saving clothes in a smaller size.
Clothes you hope to fit into one day.
Clothes that represent a future version of yourself.
Or perhaps you're saving clothes that represent your past.
Clothes from a happier season.
A younger season.
A different season.
And those pieces hold emotional meaning.
They remind you of memories.
Moments.
Milestones.
But while memories deserve to be honored…
They don’t need to live in your closet.
Because your closet is meant to serve your present—not your past.
Keeping clothes that don’t fit your body today quietly communicates a message:
"You are not enough right now."
And that message does not belong in your life.
Your closet should affirm you.
Support you.
Empower you.
Not judge you.
Not pressure you.
Not shame you.
Your Body Changes. Your Colors Change. Your Life Changes.
As we age, our coloring naturally evolves.
Our skin tone changes.
Our hair color changes.
Our contrast level changes.
And clothing that once looked amazing may no longer be your best.
This is normal.
This is natural.
This is healthy.
Your wardrobe should evolve as you evolve.
Not freeze you in a version of yourself that no longer exists.
Wealth Is Not Just What You Keep
Wealth is not measured by how much you accumulate.
It is measured by how intentionally you live.
A wealthy brain understands:
Clarity creates confidence.
Space creates peace.
And alignment creates power.
Your closet is not just storage.
It is a reflection of your identity.
And when your external world aligns with your internal growth…
Everything changes.

My Lesson: Financial Clutter Is Hiding in Your Closet 💲
While working on expanding the Rewire for a Wealthy Brain Course, I realized something profound:
Financial clutter doesn’t just live in your bank account.
It lives in your closet.
Your wardrobe tells the story of your spending habits, your saving habits, and your investing habits.
And just like money, your clothing decisions reflect your mindset.
When you apply the three pillars of spending, saving, and investing to your closet, you begin to see clearly what is serving you—and what is silently draining you.
The Spender: The Bargain Hoarder 🧥
Perhaps you’ve been a spender—but not in the obvious way.
Not as someone who impulsively buys luxury items.
Instead, you became a bargain shopper.
And over time… a bargain hoarder.
You couldn’t resist a deal.
It was only $10.
It was marked down 80%.
It was too good to pass up.
You told yourself:
"But it was on sale."
"I might need it later."
"It's such a great price."
And in that moment, it felt smart.
It felt responsible.
It felt like winning.
But over time, those bargains began to accumulate.
Your closet is filled with items you don’t wear.
Your home is filled with things that don’t serve you.
And the truth is:
A bargain isn’t a blessing if it becomes a burden.
You paid for it once.
But your closet keeps paying for it—with space, stress, and decision fatigue.
Every unused item becomes clutter.
Every cluttered space creates mental weight.
And every time you open your closet and don’t love what you see, it quietly drains your confidence.
Being wise with your space is just as valuable as being wise with your money.
So now the questions become:
Is this item worth the space it takes?
Do I look good in it?
Is it flattering?
Does it serve who I am today?
This all started because I decided to tithe my closet.
Not just my money.
My closet.
My church runs an incredible thrift store that serves our entire community, and I thought:
"What if I gave away 10% of my wardrobe?"
Easy, right?
Wrong.
Because when I opened my closet…
I didn’t find clothes.
I found financial clutter.
I found:
• Bargains I couldn’t resist
• Clothes I saved for “someday.”
• Expensive pieces I kept because of what they cost
• And items I hadn’t worn in YEARS
So I did something bold.
I designed AI prompts to analyze my closet like a financial advisor analyzes your money.
And what happened next shocked me.
As I started releasing the clutter…
I felt lighter.
Clearer.
More confident.
More aligned.
It wasn’t about clothes.
It was about identity.
If you want, DM me the word "CLOSET," and I’ll share the exact AI prompts I created that help you identify financial clutter hiding in your wardrobe. I'll send you the 9-page PDF for you to create your own wardrobe capsule that makes you look fantastic!
It’s wild.
And it works.
Your future self will thank you.
Ashley 💛
P.S. Please donate your items to the charity of your choice. Also, I used ChatGPT for my prompts.

✨ Before you read this… I need a virtual promise. ✨
Seriously. Raise your right hand. Yes, I’m watching. 😄
Promise me this:
If what you’re about to read hits you in the heart…you will take some action and donate the items that no longer serve you.
Deal?
I mean it.
Because this might genuinely change your life.
This all started because I decided to tithe my closet.
Not my money.
My closet.
My church runs an incredible thrift store that serves our entire community, and I thought:
"What if I gave 10% of my wardrobe away?"
Easy, right? Wrong.
Because when I opened my closet…
I didn’t find clothes.
I found financial clutter.
I found:
• Bargains I couldn’t resist
• Clothes I saved for “Someday!”
• Expensive pieces I kept because of what they cost
• And items I hadn’t worn in YEARS
And I heard that little voice say:
"But it was on sale."
"But I might need it."
"But I paid good money for that."
And then it hit me.
The bargain isn’t a blessing if it becomes a burden.
You pay for it once…
And then you and your closet keep paying for it with space, stress, and decision fatigue.
Sound familiar: A closet full of clothes and nothing to wear?
So I did something bold.
I designed AI prompts to analyze my closet like a financial advisor analyzes your money.
Because your closet reveals your:
• Spending habits
• Saving habits
• Investing habits
• And your mindset
And what happened next shocked me.
I found colors that look great on me! I discovered my customized hair color and makeup recommendations. AI gave me a purge list with specific colors and patterns to avoid, and I started pulling out those pieces that make me look tired, old, washed out, etc.
As I started releasing the clutter…
I felt lighter. Clearer. More beautiful.
More confident. In the moment. More aligned.
It wasn’t about clothes.
It was about identity.
Here’s the truth most people never realize:
You cannot step into your next level while dressed for your past life.
Some of you are literally wearing old versions of yourselves.
Some of you are holding onto guilt purchases.
Some of you are saving clothes for a body that no longer exists.
And some of you are keeping items simply because you paid too much to let them go.
But here’s the question that changes everything:
Is it worth the space it takes in your life?
So here’s your assignment. Remember your promise? 😉
DM me "CLOSET," and I'll send you the exact AI prompts + my step-by-step directions in a 9-page PDF…
No shame. No judgment. Just a clean plan that works.
Because what you release creates space for what you’re becoming!💛
I provide you directions for taking pictures of yourself, and use my prompts to design your ideal wardrobe based on your skin color, hair, etc. You'll create a wardrobe capsule including accessories, and a purge list of items that no longer serve you. Then, GO to your closet!
Pull out 5 things on your purge list. Put them in a donation bag.
And bless someone else with them.
Pull out 5 more. Make it a scavenger hunt...
Because what you release creates space for what you’re becoming.
I went looking for everything rust and orange to donate - some with tags still on them. I cheerfully release them to an Autumn season lady - because I'm a Summer gal!
As a Christian woman, I am a cheerful giver. These pieces are going to POP on the right lady, it's just not me! I won't waste money buying clothes ever again. When I go to the dressing room, I take a picture and get AI to tell me to BUY or PUT BACK. Yes, those prompts are in there, too!
Imagine that - using your clothing budget to buy only things that help you look your best!
Because what you release creates space for what you’re becoming.
I created this to help you identify financial clutter hiding in your wardrobe.
It’s wild. And it works.
Your future fabulous-looking self will thank you!
Ashley 💛
