Our school motto is “We lead and all will follow.” It is with heavy heart that we acknowledge the death of one of our own Windsor Forest Knights during the attack in Jordan. Spec Breonna Moffett, one of the three soldiers killed, was a Savannah native and graduated from WFHS in 2019. She was in the band and served as Drum Major. Both of her parents also served in the military. She was only 23.

Rest in Peace classmate from 1977. Honors classes. Football Team. Then on to Georgia Tech and a great career in engineering and business.

We got the answer that the Windsor Forest (all classes) Universal Reunion for the 55th anniversary of the opening of WFHS cannot happen next summer because of COVID-19 restrictions. No visitors are allowed on school campus. That could change, but not in time for planning.

We could do a Reunion somewhere else but that would involve thousands of dollars given to venues when our mission is to give every penny back to the school.

We will be keeping in touch with WFHS to see if this changes. We are open to other ideas so please let us know if you have some!

Sad to report the loss of another WFHS Knight from the Class of ‘77, Diane Honan Rowe. While I never knew her as she moved before I started at Windsor, she was loved by those who did.
