Repost from our editor in chief - I am so happy but sad to say that my time on the campus of Howard University has come to an end. After attending the Du Bois Data Lab, hosted by the I can truly say I have grown as a journalist. I have learned so many new skills on how to collect data, present data, and most importantly how to report as well as building a story around the data. It was a true honor to represent the Savannah State University.

From touring the Bloomberg News office to visiting the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, this program is one I suggest to all college students in the media field.
