I finally found something Cut Art Stone Company (one of the longest users of myself) made in Savannah! The German Memorial fountain in New Orleans Square! Know of any other pieces they made?

Seems churches make great adaptive reuse projects. This one was funded and untook by Temple University in Pennsylvania. After a 30 MILLION dollar reno, the historic Chapel of the Four Chaplains is a now an event space that can hold up to 130 seats!

Was finally able to get in touch with a past owner today! He said before Cut Art Stone Company took over I was once a garage for the school district buses and before that I housed a casket company! And he thinks I was probably built in the early 1900's.

Look what I found! The company that owns me now wants to start a new residential development. At least it looks like they'll keep me! But nothing has happened since 2007 when they requested a re-zoning of the property.
