We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Mrs. Janine Robles has been named Godley Station School’s Instructional Support Person of the Year! 🎉
As our Records Clerk, Mrs. Robles keeps our daily operations running smoothly, but she does so much more than what’s on paper. From her warm smile helping greeting students in the main hall each morning, to bridging communication gaps by translating for our Spanish-speaking families; she is always there when someone needs a hand.
She also goes above and beyond as our Curtis V. Cooper Health Van coordinator, ensuring our families have access to essential healthcare and necessary immunizations& physicals. Mrs. Robles, your professionalism, endless hard work, and bright positivity lift up everyone at Godley Station. We are incredibly grateful to have you on our team. Attendance Recovery
The district provides the opportunity for students to make up 5 absent days per semester. GSSK8 is offering afterschool attendance recovery. Students would need to attend two after-school sessions to make up one day. Middle School students can sign up for Monday and Thursday sessions. Grades 3-5 students can sign up for Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Wednesday sessions. The sessions will be held from 3:00pm-4:30pm. You can reach out to your classroom teacher or Mrs. Kight ([email protected]) to sign students up for this service. Once the request is received, a date to attend will be assigned to the student.

Grades K-2 can work with your homeroom teachers to complete assignments to make up for the absence.

Great work from our cross country runners today at the Rock Invitational!! I’m glad I get to Coach a great team to honor and remember a great friend! Coach Rock would have been proud of how today went!! Great job stallions! Thank you to all of the parents for helping out with our athletes and our home base tent!!!

Chief Gunther took time to stop by and speak with our young men, share words of wisdom from his career, and show them what true community leadership looks like. Today is the day!
We are officially launching the Ignite Reading program at Godley Station K-8 School! 🚀📚
Building strong reading foundations early changes everything. Led by the incredible Dr. Nicole Henry-Beacher and Ms. Kaydian Armstrong, this powerful early literacy program will provide some of our first graders with targeted, one-on-one virtual foundational reading support from trained tutors. We are so excited to watch our young learners grow their decoding skills with multisyllabic words, boost their reading confidence, and spark a lifelong love for learning!
