Look into our hearts and see our desire to grow closer to you. Help us show our love for you through our words, our actions, and the way we treat others.

⛪ ALTAR SERVER TRAINING

Calling all altar servers! Join us for an Altar Server Training on Saturday, September 26 at 9 AM in the church.

Both new and experienced altar servers are encouraged to attend. Whether you’re just beginning this special ministry or have been serving for years, we’d love to see you there!

Altar serving at Blessed Sacrament Church gives youth (aged 10+, girls and boys) the opportunity to assist the priest and deacons during all liturgies, including daily Masses, weekend Masses, Holy Days of Obligation, funerals and weddings.

🙏 Gospel Reflection | Matthew 18:21-35

Jesus reminds us that forgiveness isn’t something we can measure or limit. We are called to forgive again and again - not because it is always easy, but because God has shown us boundless mercy.

Lord, help us remember how freely You forgive us. Soften our hearts when we hold onto hurt, and give us the grace to extend to others the same mercy, patience and love You continually offer us. Amen.

🇺🇸 A Prayer of Remembrance | September 11

Heavenly Father,

Today we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and we lift in prayer all those whose lives were forever changed by that day.

We pray for the victims and their families, for the first responders who ran toward danger, and for all who have sacrificed in service to our nation.

Lord, comfort those who still carry sorrow. Bring healing where there is pain, peace where there is division, and hope where there is fear.

Help us to be instruments of Your peace - to choose compassion over hatred, unity over division, and love for one another in all that we do.

May we never forget those we lost, and may we always turn to You, our source of hope and peace.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen. 🇺🇸🙏

We’ll kick off the morning with Family Mass with Father Brian at 8 AM, then head to Daffin Park for a 1.5-mile family run/walk at 9 AM. Afterward, join us back at the BSS Gym for breakfast and fellowship! 🥞
