Hardin County High School Varsity Singers

Hello, Varsity Singers!!!
A few things before tomorrow...
1. Bring your performance dresses and outfits for pictures and lip dub tomorrow...help remind others in the group.
2. Seasonal Concert is Tuesday, Nov.30th (after Thanksgiving) at 6:00 in the auditorium be there at 5:30...admission is free but we will gladly accept donations to The Table of Savannah.
3. Christmas on Main, Friday, December 3rd. Be there by 4:30 at the Hardin County Courthouse. We perform at 4:45 to 5:15. This will be for the opening of the event and the lighting of the Christmas Tree.

This has been a very difficult year for our high school choral program. Because of Covid, we were challenged with a hybrid schedule, distance learning, quarantine, and other obstacles. We were low on numbers but high on talent and growth. The HCHS Varsity Singers would not be defeated. Through perseverance, patience, and hard work, I am proud to announce that the Varsity Singers will present their spring concert, IN PERSON, Tuesday, May 4th at 6:00 in our newly redone state-of-art HCHS auditorium.

In the pic below, is the list of our 21-22 Varsity Singers. We are coming back...STRONG! So, be prepared to enjoy many great performances this next year! 👏

HCHS Winter Concert 2020

Tonight, I paid my respects to our Mr.John. He loved accompanying the Varsity Singers for the past 14 years. The Singers adored him.

I want to touch base with you. If you want to keep your sightsinging skills sharp, Sight Reading Factory is offering free time on their website. We use SRF in our daily sightreading exercises in class. Take advantage of this!!!🎶🎵😁🎶🎵Also, be sure to look at the district web page for continuing learning, especially, ACT prep. A good ACT score plus a vocal scholarship means more money and opportunities for you! If you need me or have any questions, please, please, please contact me...[email protected].
One more thing...HCHS Varsity Singers auditions for 2020-21 will be held prior to the start of school in August. I will send out info later in May. I will possibly use ZOOM to hold your audition or in-person in the chorus room at the high school (depending on the status of the pandemic). Please share this post with other Varsity Singers or those interested in auditioning.

🎶Mrs. Tyson wanted to let her Varsity Singers know that she is thinking about them today as they celebrate Thanksgiving. She knows how blessed she is to have such a wonderful group! She loves and appreciates each individual singer! 🦃❤👍🎶

HCHS Varsity Singers will present their seasonal concert Sunday, December 10th, at 2:00pm in the HCHS auditorium. Also, we will be asking for Varsity Singer Patrons. These will be as follows: White-$25, Silver-$50, Maroon-$75, Gold-$100. Patrons can be businesses, families, or individuals. All patrons will be listed in the program for the seasonal concert and all other public performances. Thank you and hope to see you at our concert in December!

Remember, the HCHS Varsity Singers' Spring Concert will be tomorrow night at 6:00 at First United Methodist Church in Savannah. Seniors will be honored. All singers need to be at the church at 5:00 sharp to set up. I can't wait!!! It is going to be beautiful!

Spring and Senior Recognition final concert will be next Tuesday, April 25th at 6:00 pm at First United Methodist Church in Savannah,TN. All singers must be at the church dressed and ready to set up and sing at 5:00 sharp. Light refreshments and water will be served to the singers in the choir room at the church before the concert, as well. I can't wait! This venue is amazing acoustically and aestheticaly . You will love performing there!
