Build your own skin-on-frame kayak during a week-long workshop in Savannah, Georgia with master boat builder Brian Schultz of the Oregon Coast's Cape Falcon Kayak. Class tuition includes all the materials for your new boat and... traditional Greenland style cedar wooden paddle plus hands-on instruction every step of the way. Participants may choose from either a sleek traditional Greenland style boat or Brian's modern and ultra-functional F1 sea kayak design. Both boats are durable, lightweight (25-35 lbs!), and come with a 5-year guarantee. Paddle off with your finished boat by the last day of class! Class dates: Nov. 3-9, 2012, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Location: Savannah Canoe and Kayak
