This morning our 5th grade Leopards 🐆 planted camellia plants along the Truman Bike Path off of Bona Bella Ave! Each student tagged their plant with their names! They'll be able to go back for years to come to see the fruits of their labor! Great job 5th grade!

📣Last week our Kindergarten Leopards 🐆 had a blast learning about 🍎Johnny Appleseed!🍎

📣On Monday our Largo Leopards wore 💛 yellow and gold 💛 to support one of our Leopards, Alaina, in her fight against Childhood Cancer!

celebrate exceptional achievement and growth in third-grade reading! 🏫📚

State Superintendent Richard Woods stopped by Andrea B. Williams Elementary today to present banners for our Literacy Leaders! These are schools that have 90% or more of their third-grade students reading at or above grade level, and schools with 15% or higher increase in reading levels from 2021-22 to 2022-23!

Schools who were recognized include Andrea B Williams Elementary School, Heard Elementary School, Jacob G. Smith Elementary School, Largo-Tibet Leopards, New Hampstead K-8, Otis J. Brock, III Elementary School, Rice Creek K-8, and West Chatham Elementary School!

Join us this Monday, September 18th, in supporting one of our very own Largo Leopards 🐆 Alaina by wearing a 💛yellow or gold💛 shirt with your uniform bottoms, as she has a major surgery! Let's join together to send her support and love in her fight with Childhood Cancer! ❤️

Today Our Largo Leopards 🐆 celebrated International 🔴Dot Day🔴, a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration! Teachers dressed in dots, students participated in Dot Themed activities and crafts, and even enjoyed Dot Day treats like Dippin' Dots! ❤️
