The evolution of our Handbuilding Planters workshop has been a real one. 🤠🌱
It was our very first handbuilding event in Oct 2023 - just one month after opening. Looking back, it was kind of a mess... We only had 6 seats. It took for-ev-er to roll all the slabs. We quickly learned that 3D elements + our catch dish spec meant none of the planters would fit their base. The plant shop we collaborated with announced they were closing the day before our event, so our whole pick a plant at the shop plan was toast. We didn't have dipping glazes yet, so I glazed everything by hand. I could go on...
Fast forward to today - We have 15 seats. We've dialed in our templates. We're testing terracotta to make our firing more efficient, AND WE'RE THE PLANT SHOP! 💅 ✨
To say this is my favorite workshop would be an understatement. Ps. We're also working on a wheel throwing planter workshop, so be on the lookout! 👀

This month marks TWO years of Studio B! ✨
When we signed the lease, we knew it would be home to our first Summer Camp for kids and larger handbuilding workshops. It has since evolved into home of Glaze Your Own Pottery, Stained Glass, and Private Parties!
This studio was such a joy to put together. Swipe for before photos!
