"My heart aches because we say we want to change the trajectory of domestic violence, yet too often we sit behind our desk and fail to understand the real cost of leaving.

For some, leaving takes tremendous courage, and can mean having nowhere to go. This bench should not be the end of anyone’s story.

JUST LIKE ME, everyone deserves safety, support, and an opportunity to begin again... and again

We cannot change or help what we refuse to understand. And YES ... the first change began within me ... but not without someone believing in me. I was not alone. SOMEONE NEEDS YOU TO BELIEVE IN THEM ...
