To our Spring 2026 Certified Graduates, words truly can’t express how proud we are of each of you. Your presence within CMO has been felt far beyond meetings, events, or photos. Through your leadership, consistency, service, and sisterhood, you all helped shape the culture, energy, and continued growth of this organization in such a special way.

These ladies have left undeniable marks not only within CMO, but across Savannah State University and throughout the community as a whole. Whether it was through leadership, mentorship, creativity, service, or simply showing up and standing on business every single time, y’all represented what it truly means to be Certified.

The sleeves were never just handed out, but they were earned with these ladies! And each of your journeys reflects exactly why.

Watching y’all grow into the women you are today has been beautiful to witness. Strong. Brilliant. Resilient. Purpose driven. Veryyyy Certified!!

Tonight was a full circle moment. During Savannah State University’s Alumni Pinning Ceremony, two of our very own Certified leaders were celebrated as they prepare to enter their next chapter.

Current Miss CMO, .thebarb was pinned by CMO Founder , a moment representing mentorship, growth, and the impact of leadership poured back into the next generation.

Current CMO President was pinned by former CMO President , symbolizing the continuation of legacy, leadership, and the standard of excellence carried throughout CMO’s journey.

These moments are bigger than photos or videos. They represent the relationships, support systems, and community that continue to shape who we are both inside and outside of the organization.

Our Founder and Mister CMO .youngvon were BOTH inducted into national honor societies, and not just any… we’re talking about organizations that recognizes only the top tier in their fields.

Tivon Adams: Inducted into Kappa Tau Alpha, the National Honor Society for Journalism & Mass Communication.

Kevontae Kelly: Inducted into Pi Alpha Alpha, the Global Honor Society for Public Affairs & Administration; Masters. Additionally, awarded his MPA Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Organizations & Leadership Development, while also being named to the Regional Roster of Excellence after placing 1st in the National NASPAA simulation.

Different lanes. Same standard: CERTIFIED EXCELLENCE.

This is what it looks like when leadership, discipline, and purpose meet consistency. Not just showing up, but standing out in rooms that require more. We don’t just talk about being Certified, we walk it. Every time.
