What an AMAZING first day at Butler Elementary School!

Our halls were filled with smiling faces, excited learners, caring teachers, and supportive families, as we kicked off a brand-new school year. Thank you to everyone who helped make our first day a success!

We were thrilled to welcome our returning and new Butler Bears. This year, we are committed to learning, growing, and achieving great things together.

The 21st Century Community Learning Center program starts August 31, 2026. Please do not forget to register your child (grades 2-5) before August 11, 2026. The after-school program is committed to helping your child achieve academic success through fun and engaging activities.

The countdown is almost over.

Our teachers have officially finished preparing and are ready to welcome all of our Butler Bears!

On Friday, our admin team added the final touches as we wrapped up our pregame strategies and got everything ready for an incredible school year.

Butler Elementary School is excited to host Girls on the Run for students in Grades 3–5 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. We look forward to an exciting season with our Butler Bears!

Girls on the Run inspires participants to build confidence, strengthen friendships, and develop healthy habits through fun, interactive lessons and physical activity. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Meredith-Brown at 912-395-2525.

Don’t forget that Open House will be held tomorrow evening from 4pm-6pm.

At Open House, you will be able to:
~Meet your teacher
~Gain an understanding of grade level expectations
~Have the opportunity to sign up to volunteer.

You will also receive information about transportation including our new procedures for car pool and bus riders as well as find bus route information.
