Congratulations to our 2026 graduate, Ralo Wesley, on receiving this scholarship!
Ralo will be attending Fairmont State University, where he has earned a scholarship to continue his football career at the next level. We are incredibly proud of his hard work, dedication, and accomplishments both on and off the field.
A special thank you to the Southeastern Quarterbacks Club for recognizing Ralo with this outstanding award and for your continued support of student-athletes in our community.
🏈The hard work paid off Friday night.
Six local student-athletes representing Jenkins High School, High School, Bethesda Academy, Benedictine Military School, Long County High School and Woodville Tompkins were honored by the Savannah Southeastern QB Club with scholarships and recognition for what they’ve done on and off the field.
But this night was about more than football.
It was about leadership, sacrifice, family and giving back to the next generation.

Happy Motivational Monday
As we begin a new week, let’s be intentional about choosing peace. While we cannot control the actions of others, we can control how we respond. Kindness, patience, understanding, and grace can go a long way in building stronger relationships and creating a positive environment around us.
This week, challenge yourself to be a peacemaker, extend grace, and focus on what you can do to encourage unity and understanding.

Happy What’s Up Wednesday!
What an incredible graduation celebration we had on Saturday! From our meaningful memory walk, where each graduate had the opportunity to hear from a faculty member, staff member, or alumnus and reflect on their journey through campus, to the powerful message from our graduation speaker, Dr. Ricky Temple, every moment was truly special.
We were also inspired by our Valedictorian and Salutatorian, and we can never thank the Women’s Board of Bethesda enough for the beautiful reception following graduation.
One of the most heartfelt moments was hearing each graduate share their personal thank-yous while their families proudly cheered them on. There is truly nothing like a Bethesda Academy graduation!
Bethesda Academy is a special place where we transform boys into purpose-driven men, and that was clearly on display this past Saturday. Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
As always, it’s a great day to be a Blazer!

Happy Motivational Monday!
As we begin a new week, let’s remember that true success comes when we place God at the center of everything we do. Hard work is important, but without His guidance, our efforts can fall short.
Trust God’s plan, stay faithful, and continue building with purpose.
Let’s have a great week.

He holds the following degrees: doctor of ministry from The King’s Seminary, master of arts in strategic leadership from Life Pacific University, honorary doctor of divinity from the International Church of Foursquare, and honorary doctor of letters from Life Pacific, where he also earned an undergraduate diploma in biblical studies.

Happy What’s Up Wednesday!
We have been having an amazing time at Bethesda Academy this past week!
Last Friday, our students enjoyed an exciting Field Day filled with competition and fun. One of the highlights of the day was the “Fastest Man on Campus” race, where senior Chris Wright took home the title! We also crowned the “Strongest Man on Campus,” with senior Isaiah Redmond winning the title for the second year in a row. Students also enjoyed 3v3 basketball competitions, the pool, waterslides, a cookout, and so much more! A huge thank you to our faculty, staff, and the Women’s Board of Bethesda for making this such a memorable day for our students.
Friday night was just as special as we hosted our Scholarship Gala. What an incredible evening it was! Thank you to the Scholarship Gala Committee, our donors, sponsors, and everyone who gave so generously to support our students.
We were honored to have Gerald Thomas III, a 2016 Bethesda Academy graduate, award-winning sports reporter, and alumnus of Valdosta State University and Florida A&M University, serve as our speaker for the evening. Gerald truly represents how Bethesda transforms boys into purpose-driven men.
Our seniors were at the heart of the Gala, and their senior video was incredibly touching. Thank you to Shots by Somi for capturing such special moments, especially the beautiful photos of our seniors and their mothers in celebration of Mother’s Day. Be on the lookout for more Scholarship Gala photos in the coming days!
As always, it’s a great day to be a Blazer!
