Hello classmates and friends! With our reunion just two weeks away we wanted to send out a reminder with venues and times and give you some other information as well.
Friday night meet and greet 7-10 at Knights of Columbus, 3 W. Liberty St. Savannah.
Saturday night dinner and dance 6-11 at The Mighty Eighth Museum Art Gallery, 175 Bourne Dr., Pooler.
There will be a cash bar both nights and light snacks Friday night. The parking garage by the Knights of Columbus is only taking Visa and Master Card at this time, no cash. Dress is casual both nights.
We are very much looking forward to our reunion and seeing all of you there!

Hey friends! Our 40+ year WFHS Class Reunion is October 8-10, 2021. If you are planning to attend, the reunion committee needs your verbal commitment by July 10, 2021 and payment by August 31, 2021 for final venue payment. *Friday night- Meet and Greet at the Knights of Columbus on Liberty, 7-10
*Saturday night- Dinner and Dance at Mighty Eighth Museum in Pooler, 6-11
*Sunday morning Church Service with Rev. Gregory Lordnum, c/o '81.

Everyone is welcome to join us.
Cost is $65 per person

The WFHS Class of 1980 Reunion Committee

Hey Class of 1980!

What a year it's been, right? We (the Reunion Planning Committee) hope you have been safe and healthy through all of this. We offer our prayers for recovery and sympathy if COVID-19 has affected your friends or family directly.

We decided that April will be too soon to have the reunion due to the continuing spread of the virus. We have contacted The Mighty Eighth Museum and rescheduled our reunion for this Fall. It is planned for the same weekend in October that we had originally picked, (A three day weekend for some) October 8-9 2021. Hopefully the third time will do it!

We will be trying to contact members of the Class of 1981 to see if they may be interested in combining reunion plans. If anyone knows anyone involved in their plans, please ask them to reach out to us.

We will keep you all posted on details as they become available. Thank you for your patience! We can't wait to see everyone!

Fellow Knights,

Due to the uncertainty of when this pandemic will end, we the Class of '80 reunion committee thought it best that we reschedule the reunion until next year. It is our desire that everyone who attends will feel safe and be able to fully enjoy and mingle with our classmates , friends, and families. For those of you who have already paid, you have two options. The first is a refund and the second is to transfer your registration to the reunion scheduled for the April 24, 2021 weekend. For those who choose to transfer their registration to next, you will not incur any extra fees should the registration cost be higher than $65.00. We are working diligently to ensure that everyone will have a memorable reunion. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to the committee or any of it's members. We thank you for understanding and your patience.

Greetings WFHS Class of 1980 and friends,

We hope that you are as excited as we are about our upcoming 40th class reunion! This pandemic has put us in a situation that we never imagined being in. I am positive that this pandemic has been an eye opener for all of us. So, we would like to invite our friends from the other classes to join us in our celebration. Due to situations beyond our control, we need those of you who will be in attendance to pay your registration of $65.00 per person (or make arrangements with one of the committee members) by July 3, 2020. An exciting weekend (October 9 - 11, 2020) has been planned with you in mind. A Meet & Greet on Friday, Banquet/Dance on Saturday, and church with our class member Rev. Gregory Lordnum on Sunday.

Everyone is invited to join us, but we must hear from you no later than July 3rd. Your responses will determine the direction in which we will proceed with the reunion plans. If you have any questions please ask us. More details will be released after July 3rd.

The WFHS Class of 1980 Reunion Committee

Hi everyone! I hope you are all surviving this very strange and difficult time.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the reunion planning committee put all of our plans on hold. We had secured a venue and had selected a caterer and made some other major decisions that fell in line with our budget based on our projected attendance expectations prior to the COVID situation.

The venue is now operating at a smaller capacity and other things have changed as well due to social distancing and food service requirements.

Before we regroup and make any further plans, we REALLY need to get a feel for how many of you are still interested in have the reunion this October.

PLEASE take a moment to comment a simple YES or NO in response to the question

"Will you come to a reunion if held as scheduled on October 10, 2020?"
