🚨🌿🙌🏼 ISLANDS UPDATE: WE GOT THE GREEN LIGHT! 🌿🙌🏼🚨

Fire Marshal Brooke was onsite today and officially gave us the clear to KEEP GOING! 🙌🏼💚

This is a BIG milestone for us! We’ve been cleared to continue construction and start closing up the building! 🥹🏡 Our GC shared that today’s inspection was incredibly productive and we have a clear path forward with minimal downtime.

And you know what that means… We. Keep. Moving!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Every inspection, every wire, very sprinkler head, every wall that gets closed up… It’s all bringing us one step closer to opening these doors and filling this beautiful school with Little Thrivers! 🌿💚

Seeing all those trucks outside today made our hearts SO happy! So many people working together to bring this vision to life.

🏗️♥️🌿BRYAN WOODS UPDATE! 🙌🏼✨🌿

This week’s update may be a little shorter, but it’s a BIG step forward!

⚡ Lowcountry Technologies has officially finished the wiring! One more box checked as we get closer and closer to welcoming our Little Thrivers into their new school. 💚

🔥 Next up: Fire Marshal Brooke!
She is scheduled to visit us Thursday, but we’re officially FIRST on the waitlist if an opening becomes available before then. You better believe we’re ready whenever she is! 🙌🏼 Once she gives us the OK we will be able to finish the drywall!

We’re now offering Bryan Woods group tours every Wednesday at 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM. This is your chance to walk the space, hear what we’re building, ask questions, and start imagining your child THRIVING!

Our opening-day community is coming together, and it has been wonderful getting to meet these families before the doors even open. This is how Thrive begins—with relationships! 💚

We love celebrating the people who are helping shape the future of early childhood education, and today we’re especially proud to celebrate our Founder & CEO, Krystle Steinhoff. 💚

Krystle was recently featured by the Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students (GEEARS) as one of Georgia’s Early Childhood Changemakers, recognizing leaders who are making a meaningful impact on children, families, educators, and communities across our state.

From the very beginning, Krystle’s vision for Thrive Early Learning has been about so much more than opening schools. She has worked to build places where children feel safe, inspired, and deeply known, where families are true partners, and where educators are empowered to grow and lead.

Her passion for raising the standard of early childhood education continues to shape every Thrive location and extends far beyond our walls through statewide advocacy, leadership, and collaboration.

We’re incredibly proud of this well-deserved recognition and grateful for the heart, vision, and dedication she brings to Thrive every single day.

🏗️🌿‼️Bryan Woods Construction Update – Week 7 🙌🏼🙏🏻🌿

Week 7 is in the books, and we’re getting closer every single day! It’s so exciting to watch this vision continue to come to life.

Here’s what’s happening this week:

🌿 The biggest and most exciting thing to happen this week has been the amazing transformation of the property! Now we can see what the playgrounds are going to look like! We have the most exciting nature area that will be combined with natural grass and artificial turf for the ultimate outdoor learning experience. 🌳 It’s all coming together! 🌿🙌🏼🫶🏼

For the building things are going according to plan:

📐 Fire sprinklers are installed and we are just waiting on fire marshal approval of our fire alarm plans before we can finish the drywall, but we can really see the classrooms taking shape! We are amazed at the amount of natural light coming in!

‼️🌿If you have a personal connection with anyone in the Georgia State Fire Marshal’s Office please let us know ‼️🌿🙏🏻🫶🏼. They canceled an inspection because of the World Cup and we’re waiting on that to be rescheduled (which is unfortunate), but there’s plenty to do while we wait!

Our construction team has everything ready, and we’re patiently waiting for the required inspection before we can keep moving on finishing out our beautiful classrooms!

🌿🚧Week 6 Construction Update🚧🌿

Things are moving FAST over at Bryan Woods, and every time we stop by, there’s something new to see!

This week has been all about preparing the outdoor learning environment, and we’re getting so close to seeing our playground begin to take shape.

✨ Here’s what’s happened this week:

🌲 Major site clearing is complete.
📐 Grading, leveling, and site layout are finished.
🛝 The base for our artificial turf playground is coming together with geotextile fabric installed and stone being placed.
🌿 The natural pine forest has been carefully preserved, creating the perfect setting for the outdoor classrooms and nature play spaces we’ve envisioned from the very beginning.
🚒 Sprinkler installation is wrapping up, drywall is going up, and flooring materials have arrived on site!

☀️🌤️🌦️ If the weather cooperates, the playground will be ready for turf installation early next week! 🙌🏼

One of the highlights of this project has been watching Justin Glisson and his team at Glisson Earthworks work their magic! These guys have done an incredible job transforming the property while preserving what makes it so special. They’ve worked through long, hot Georgia days with so much attention to detail, making sure the land is ready for generations of little explorers!

Every pile of stone, every load of sand, every tree they’ve protected brings us one step closer to children climbing, discovering, imagining, and learning in an environment designed just for them.

We’re building a place where children can experience the wonder of childhood. A place where nature is part of the classroom. A place where curiosity is celebrated!

🚧♥️🌿 Oops… construction is moving faster than our Facebook updates! 🌿🙌🏼😅

Week 5 Construction Update!
✅ Playground/site clearing began.
✅ Rough grading got underway.
✅ Utilities started going in.
✅ Electrical inspection passed.
✅ Fire sprinkler installation wrapped up.
✅ Flooring selections were finalized.
✅ Low-voltage work is ready to begin.
✅ The team has been hard at work transforming what used to be an overgrown wooded area into the future home of something really special!

🌲 Later today we’ll share our Week 6 update, and we think everyone will be blown away by how much has already changed, especially outside! 🤩

🌿🚧Week 4 Construction Update!🌿🚧

Another exciting week is in the books, and we’re continuing to make great progress!

Here’s what’s happening behind the scenes:

✨ Electrical is complete!
The electrical installation has been finished, and inspections are scheduled. It’s exciting to see the building becoming more and more functional each week.

🚿 Fire sprinkler system is moving forward! The sprinkler materials are arriving, and installation continues to stay on schedule.

🌳 Outdoor spaces are taking shape.
We’re finalizing the layout of our approximately 4,500-square-foot playground. Our goal is to create a beautiful outdoor environment that blends nature, exploration, and play.

🛝 Playground planning continues.
We’re narrowing down our playground equipment selections to create spaces that inspire curiosity, movement, and imagination for every age group. This won’t be your typical playground!

🪟 The details matter! This week we’re making final decisions on flooring, windows, appliances, outdoor finishes, and technology infrastructure. These may seem like small decisions, but they’re the finishing touches that will make Thrive feel like home.

💚 A huge thank you to each of you! We have been incredibly humbled by the response our Islands campus has already received. The excitement from families and the community has meant so much to us!

At this time, we’re continuing to build our Interest List while construction and licensing move forward. Families on the Interest List will be the first to receive invitations to our hard hat tours and will also have the first opportunity to enroll once enrollment officially opens.

Every week brings us one step closer to opening our doors, and we can’t wait to welcome your family into this special place.

🌿🚧Week 3 Construction Update! 🚧🌿

Three weeks in… and WOW. 🤩 The transformation is happening so fast, and every week it feels a little more like Thrive!

🌿 Plumbing is 100% roughed in and has officially passed inspection! ✅

🌿 Electrical is about 60% complete, with inspection scheduled for Monday! 💡

🌿 Our sprinkler system is right on schedule and will be completed and inspected on Wednesday! 💦

🌿 Classroom exhaust fans arrived yesterday and will be installed next week! Fresh air and fresh-smelling classrooms for our Little Thrivers and Thrivers? Yes, please! 💚

🌿 We’re officially ONE WEEK AHEAD OF SCHEDULE! 🎉

If everything continues to move at this pace, we could be ready for our licensing visit as early as August 27th! 🤞

🌿 We’re already 39% complete… and we’re only three weeks in! Every inspection passed. Every wall framed. Every classroom taking shape 🙌🏼

We’re not just renovating a building, we’re creating a place where children will learn, families will feel at home, and relationships will grow for years to come.

We can’t wait to open the doors and welcome you home. 💚🌿 Tours will begin within the next few weeks!

🌿🚧 Week 2 Construction Update – 27% Complete! 🚧🌿

Two weeks ago, this was just a vision!

Today, trenches have been dug, walls have been framed, inspections are being passed, and little by little, Thrive Whitemarsh Island is coming to life! 😀🙌🏼🙏🏻💚

Here’s where we stand after just 2 weeks of construction:

✅ Demolition is 100% complete
✅ Drywall cutting is complete
✅ Framing is 100% complete
✅ Inspector stopped by today and gave us two thumbs up to keep moving forward 🙌🏼🙌🏼
✅ HVAC rerouting begins Saturday, followed by ductwork installation
✅ Once concrete work is finished and approved, drywall will start going back up!

And the big one…

🌿 We are officially 27% complete! After only 2 weeks!!!🌿

Walking through the building today, it’s incredible to see the progress. There are trenches where hallways will be, footings being poured for new additions, and classroom walls taking shape. Every day brings us one step closer to welcoming Little Thrivers, Thrivers (our teachers!) and families into this beautiful space.

A huge thank you to our construction crew for the hard work and long days. As a small token of appreciation, we’re bringing them tacos tomorrow! 🌿🌮❤️

We can’t wait to keep sharing the journey with you. The transformation is happening fast, and it’s getting more exciting by the day.

Savannah has poured her heart into children, families, and Thrive for more than five years, and now it’s our turn to rally around her.
