Hello parents, please take a moment to review the flyers below regarding our upcoming Summer Program opportunities. The flyers include important information about registration, dates, times, and program activities available for students this summer.

¡Reto de asistencia! Todos los estudiantes con asistencia perfecta la próxima semana, del 11 al 15 de mayo, serán recompensados con una FIESTA DE PLANTACIÓN. Los estudiantes podrán plantar semillas en una maceta pequeña y llevársela a casa. Asegúrese de que su hijo/a esté presente todos los días la próxima semana para que pueda participar.

Attendance Challenge! All students with perfect attendance for next week, May 11-15, will be rewarded with a PLANT PARTY! Students will get to plant seeds in a small flowerpot and take it home. Make sure your student is here every day next week so they can participate.

We are proud to celebrate Dr. Tameka Thomas-Mills as our 2027-2028 Teacher of the Year at Gould Elementary School. Dr. Thomas-Mills exemplifies excellence in education through her unwavering dedication, passion for student success, and commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment. She consistently goes above and beyond to inspire her students, support her colleagues, and uplift our school community. Gould Elementary School proudly hosted a wonderful evening on April 16th, combining our GMAS Night and Spring Concert into one memorable event. Families joined us to learn valuable information and strategies to support students during the upcoming GMAS assessments, while also enjoying the incredible musical talents of our students.
The Spring Concert was a true highlight of the evening, showcasing the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our students and staff. From start to finish, the performances filled the room with joy and pride.
We are grateful to all of the families, teachers, and students who attended and contributed to making the night such a success. Your continued support helps strengthen our school community and encourages our students to shine both academically and artistically.

La Escuela Primaria Gould se enorgulleció de organizar una velada maravillosa el 16 de abril, combinando nuestra Noche GMAS y el Concierto de Primavera en un evento memorable. Las familias se unieron a nosotros para aprender información valiosa y estrategias para apoyar a los estudiantes durante las próximas evaluaciones GMAS, a la vez que disfrutaban del increíble talento musical de nuestros alumnos.

El Concierto de Primavera fue uno de los momentos culminantes de la noche, mostrando el arduo trabajo, la creatividad y la dedicación de nuestros estudiantes y personal. De principio a fin, las presentaciones llenaron el salón de alegría y orgullo.

Today we celebrate National Librarian Day by recognizing Mrs. Harrison, our librarian, and Mrs. Simon, our media clerk. Thank you both for fostering a love of reading, supporting our students and staff, and making our library a welcoming place for learning and discovery. We appreciate all that you do for the Gator Nation!

During Assistant Principal Appreciation Week, we proudly recognize the outstanding leadership and dedication of Ms. Keels at Gould Elementary School. Ms. Keels consistently goes above and beyond to support students, staff, and families, helping create a positive and successful learning environment. Her commitment, compassion, and leadership make a lasting impact on our school community each day. We are truly grateful for all that she does and celebrate her contributions this week and always.
