An exciting experience happened yesterday for our 8th graders! Along with their Social Studies teachers, they had the unique opportunity of welcoming guest speakers, Lisa Landers and Stan Deaton from the Georgia Historical Society. I am now teaching at the Savannah-Chatham E-Learning Academy and get to teach my favorite class: 8th grade Georgia Studies. Friday and today, I had the great opportunity to have John Berlon, staff attorney at the Juvenile Court, to be a guest speaker on my Zoom sessions. The students asked some really fantastic questions!
